Uninstall

Meeting Canary only joins meetings that the Meeting Canary app is added to. Use the following instructions to remove the Meeting Canary app from meetings it was previously added to, this will prevent Meeting Canary from joining.

Removing Meeting Canary #

From a Team or Channel #

Select the three dots next to the Team name. Then select Manage team. Then select Apps from the menu at the top. Right click on Meeting Canary and select Remove.

From a Chat #

To remove Meeting Canary from a Group Chat (e.g. A meeting created in your calendar). Go to the Chat list, find the chat and click on the 3 dots more icon. Select Manage apps. Right click on Meeting Canary and select Remove.

Viewing where the Meeting Canary app has been added #

In the left hand menu of Teams select Apps. Then from the next menu on the left select Manage your apps at the bottom of the page. Find Meeting Canary, click on it to expand and see where in Teams you’ve recently used the app. Select Remove for each context from which you’d like to remove Meeting Canary.
