Meetings should allow for broad participation to foster an inclusive and effective decision making process. Participants have different personalities, experience and confidence levels. Meeting Canary makes it easier participants to share the talking time.

View all participants and their relative speak time in real time using the Meeting Canary Side Panel. Use this to remind you when you are speaking too much. Invite those who have not yet said much for their input.

Monologuing alerts

In the Meeting Canary Side Panel the current speaker will receive reminder alerts when speaking for extended periods of time.

Participation Leaderboard

From the Company Statistics page you can find the Participation leaderboard. This displays the total time a person was the active speaker against the time if the meeting was equally shared amongst all participants in their meetings.

Speaking more than the expected equal share can be a sign of leadership roles, deeper/more knowledge, confidence levels. But it could also highlight potential issues with team inclusiveness, power dynamics and engagement levels.
